Bethany Polnar, DMD About Dr. Bethany PolnarDr. Bethany Polnar grew up in Canton, MA. She studied health sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she received her Bachelor's Degree with Honors. She went on to work at Massachusetts General Hospital, researching how to improve patient recovery following stroke. She was inspired to become a healthcare provider to help patients overcome disease and disability. She dreamed of becoming a dentist to transform smiles and help people have better lives. She enrolled in Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) and graduated with Honors. She worked many years as a general dentist prior to purchasing Elite Dental of Natick in September 2019, with the goal of becoming the dental home for all patients in Natick and surrounding areas. Dr. Polnar practices general dentistry and continues to further her education, staying abreast of the latest technology in dental implants, digital dentistry, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Polnar treats patients with respect and compassion. She enjoys helping people solve their dental problems. When treatment is needed, she discusses all options and helps patients to decide what is best for them. She provides excellent care with a gentle touch. She believes every patient should be able to eat, smile, and speak with confidence. Dr. Polnar understands dental anxiety is real and strives to create a comfortable and positive experience. EducationDr. Polnar received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with honors from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and Bachelors Degree in Neuroscience with Honors from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Polnar completed post-graduate continuing education in various disciplines including root canals, tooth extractions, implants, and sedation. She maintains an Individual Anesthesia Permit B for Nitrous-Oxide and Minimal Sedation. Dr. Polnar is also a Hybridge implants certified doctor. Certifications Hobbies & InterestsDr. Polnar has travelled to Dominican Republic and Guatemala on dental mission trips providing essential care to adults and children. Dr. Polnar is local to Massachusetts and manages her business with her husband. They have three young children and a Siberian Husky named Boris. She loves to relax with family, and enjoys nature, travel, and lifting weights. |
